Sydney House

The brief for this residence was an exercise in improvisation – to fully furnish the unoccupied home with just two weeks` notice and two days of preparation. The result is an exploration in modern geometricity. The emphasis on space allowed the subtlety of light being reflected against walls and furniture to be a detail in itself. Wall-to-wall glass door panelling simulates the feel of an urban atrium, with a neutral color palette adding to the sense of tranquility. Albeit brief, this was one of our most enjoyable projects to date.
